Art City fifth grade students held their annual wax museum on April 11, 2025. Students dressed up as famous and important people in United States' history. Some of the characters from history included Thomas Edison, Audrey Hepburn, Elvis Presley, Amelia Earheart, Muhamad Ali, and Kobe Bryant. All Art City students, as well as 5th grader's families, were able to walk through the museum and stop and listen to each "famous person" tell a little about themselves and their history. Art City has been doing the wax museum for over 24 years. The wax museum gives students an opportunity to read biographies, learn how to write a research paper and create a slide show presentation about their character. Students have fun dressing up, and teachers enjoy seeing the efforts put into the characters.
